The Story

An empty execution chamber sits under flat color. No body is present, and that absence is chilling. Warhol takes a press image of death and repeats it until horror becomes both unavoidable and numb. The painting asks what happens when violence becomes another image in circulation.

The Technique

Silkscreen ink and acrylic on canvas, using appropriated news photography, flat color, and serial repetition.
